The National Day of Prayer Task Force organizes, coordinates, and presides over Christian religious observances each year on the Federal National Day of Prayer in May. Each year, the NDP advertises the National Day of Payer in Coronado by sponsoring a highway banner which is displayed over a local roadway in Coronado. In 2015, the City of Coronado restricted the content of the banner due to a separation of church and state complaint.
FCDF advised the NDP in San Diego, and helped them successfully ensure that the City of Coronado did not restrict their free speech rights to advertise for the 2016 National Day of Prayer.
